Platt Tech may have lost to Derby but that was caused by their own destruction. Having 9 errors and all 7 runs being unearned, Platt Tech handed Derby the win. Junior pitcher Alyssa Morrell threw a very good game and going 1-4 while sophomore captain Alyssa Donovan put on a hitting clinic, going 3-3 with 2 triples, a double, 3 RBI's and an intentional walk on her last at bat with a runner on first base. Defensively, Alyssa had three put outs.
