Seymour junior pitcher Steph Burt fractured two fingers in her right pitching hand, according to Wildcats' coach Ken Pereiras.

Burt has been cleared by the doctor to throw, but did not pitch in Seymour's 3-2 loss to Ansonia on Thursday. Burt, however, did play first base during that loss.

It is unsure when Burt will resume pitching.
