Newtown wins SWC title
Newtown won the SWC title after a 4-1 victory over Lauralton Hall.
Rachel Ruiz had two hits and two RBIs for the top-seeded, and second-ranked, Nighthawks (23-0).
Senior pitcher Kate Bowen allowed just three hits for Newtown.
Courtney Collins doubled and scored for the third-seeded and ninth-ranked Crusaders.
