Waterford's 1-0 loss to Fitch on Saturday stopped the Lancers' 55-game winning streak. It also ended their reign as the No. 1 team in the Register Top 10 Poll as well.

Unbeaten Westhill (17-0), the defending Class LL state champions, is the new No. 1, earning 12 of the 15 first-place votes from the panel of sportswriters and coaches.

Waterford (16-1) last lost in May 2009, ironically to Fitch. The Lancers did retain two first-place votes and dropped to second in the poll.

Southington (15-1), who's only loss came to Waterford earlier this season, received one first-place vote and is ranked third.
