The Shoreline Sting Fall Softball League is presently taking team and individual registration for girls in the Grammar (fourth through sixth grades), Middle (seventh and eight grades) and High School Divisions. The Connecticut Tides Travel Softball Team will be holding open tryouts for the 2014 season in the following divisions: 14U, 18U Elite, 18U Gold, 23 U. The tryouts will be held on Aug. 24 at Westbrook High varsity softball field at 10 a.m. to noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 25 at the same times.
