After falling in
Round 1 of the city battle against Jonathan Law, the Foran softball team has had
a renewed focus. Losing by one run to their rivals put the only blemish on the
Lions’ record.
Foran has not lost since. The Lions got their revenge Saturday afternoon when they dominated from the start in a 9-0 victory over Law at Foran High.
It was the seventh straight victory for Foran, ranked third in the New Haven Register Top 10 poll, and the Lions improved to 13-1.
The loss snapped Law’s nine-game winning streak and dropped the Eagles to 12-2.
