Seymour 11, Woodland 6 (10)

Freshman Amanda Harkins drove home Grace Nisbet with the go-ahead run in the Top 10 inning and Seymour went on to defeat Woodland 11-6 in this Naugatuck Valley League Brass Division contest in Beacon Falls.

The Wildcats (14-2, 8-1) scored five times in the 10th inning. Katie Petroski added a two-run double in the inning.

Woodland (13-3, 8-1) tied the game at 6 by scoring four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The two teams are now tied for the division lead.

Petroski had three hits, a run, two RBIs and three stolen bases, Makayla O'Hara had three hits, including a home run, Nisbet hit a three-run home run and winning pitcher Raeanne Geffert helped her cause with three hits for Seymour.

Nicole Fowler had three hits, while Samantha Lee had two hits and Courtney Jurzynski had two hits and two RBIs for the Hawks.
