Triple play ends Seymour winning streak

The Seymour softball team had runners on first and third with no outs in fourth but bunted into a triple play in a 1-0 loss to St. Paul, ending the Wildcats' 27-game winning streak.

Fifth-ranked Seymour (1-1) had runners on second and third with no outs in the first inning but couldn’t score.

Emily O’Keefe doubled, was sacrificed to third and scored on a fielder’s choice to lift the visiting Falcons (2-1) to this Naugatuck Valley League victory.
