Foran cruises past North Haven
MILFORD — Heading into Friday afternoon’s contest at Foran, North Haven softball coach Sally Maher was well aware of how potent the Lions’ lineup is. Unfortunately for her, Maher got a chance to witness this almost immediately.
Scoring five times in the first inning and adding three more in each of the third and fourth innings, the Lions cruised to a 13-1 victory over the Indians at Foran High.
Foran won its fourth straight to improve to 10-1, while North Haven saw its two-game winning streak come to an end and fall to 7-4.
