Coginchaug's Kayla Votto has big game

Coginchaug senior Kayla Votto went 3-for-4, including a double, a run and three RBIs in the Blue Devils 5-2 win over East Hampton on Monday.

Votto collected her 125th career hit and 100th run in the win.

Sacred Heart Academy 3, No. 8 Foran 2: Molly Flowers allowed just four hits and struck out nine for Sacred Heart Academy won this SCC interdivision game at Hamden.

Sierra Gallagi hit a two-run home run in the fifth to put the Pacers ahead. Amanda Beecher added two hits and an RBI for the Pacers (8-4). Fallon Bevino and Jenna Zacarelli each had triples for Foran (9-3).

Lauralton Hall 5, Bunnell 0: Alex Moleski went 2-for-3, including a triple, with two RBIs for Lauralton Hall in an South-West Conference win at Milford.

Jackie Brewster went 3-for-4 for the Crusaders (9-2, 8-0). Kyla Pataki went 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs (6-7).
Law 12, Hamden 4: Amanda Leone was 3-for-4 with a double and a triple as the Eagles topped the Green Dragons in Hamden.

Mercy 17, Guilford 1 (5): Astin Donovan went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs in the Tigers’ SCC interdivision win at Middletown.

Stephanie Mangiamelli went 3-for-4 with three runs for Mercy (10-2). Guilford falls to 3-10.

Sheehan 20, Wilbur Cross 3 (6): Missy Pereira went 4-for-5 with a home run in the Titans SCC interdivision win at New Haven.

Pereira also got the win for Sheehan (6-4). Gabby Fargeorge homered for Wilbur Cross (0-11).

Cheshire 8, North Haven 3: BryAnna McIntosh went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and four runs as the Rams beat the Indians in SCC interdivision action at North Haven.
Nicole D’Amato earned the win and also homered, and Kate Bourdeau had a two-run home run for the Rams (8-4). Haley Arnoutis had a three-run home run for North Haven (8-5).
